Happiness has a different meaning for everyone…call it joy, laughter, zen, or the feeling you get when you’re done with Whole30 and can finally have beer again. Either way, we all feel them, and we ALL want more of them.
But how do we get more in our lives?
While these feelings are different for each person, the truth is that the foundation of the actual pursuit for these feelings is actually the same. In this podcast, Lee defines what it means to pursue happiness, and how the choices we choose to make (or not) in life can either enhance or inhibit how we’re able to evolve to find more balance day to day.
Why is this important?
People come to the gym for results. We help them primarily with fitness and nutrition.
But there are a lot of skinny people eating vegetables out there who aren’t happy. What’s the point in that???
This podcast reminds people that there is a third piece of the ‘health’ pie (no pun intended, vegetable eaters), as we see it here at CrossFit Lobo, and that piece is LIFESTYLE. This encompasses the other 23 hours of the day, and you cannot ignore it in your quest for results, success, and happiness.
Lee also dives into the importance of physical health, and how this one thing can make or break your attempt at even knowing where to begin your journey to self actualization.
