JohnMichael is from San Antonio, Texas but has been able to travel & live a bunch of different places since he grew up in a military family. He will be finishing up his degree in the Spring of 2022 at UTSA and plans on living to his fullest potential. No ring or kids yet (knock on wood), so he has plenty of time to decide on how much fun he is going to have in the meantime.
JohnMichael grew up doing various sports, so CrossFit was a natural fit. JohnMichael decided to join CrossFit when he saw how cool everyone looked at the 2019 CrossFit Open. It looked like something he would enjoy so he went for it!
What he loves about Lobo is the community-based environment. Everyone is nice but there is still that competitive edge to people that make classes interesting.
Outside of the gym, his most recent hobby is competing in triathlons; he spends most of the week on his bike.
He is honestly probably the coolest cat you know (self-proclaimed). He loves to work hard but eat just as much. You can catch him at a buffet line or 60 miles into a bike route. Either way, he’s going to be one happy dude.
