It’s been two years since Anthony Bourdain’s suicide. Today I talk about some of the lessons that he inspired me to think about… specifically about how to make everyday count, whether travelling, eating, reading, or listening.
Why is this important?
Now, more than ever, it feels like we are all waiting with bated breath for life to feel like it did a few months ago. So we push off the things we enjoy, even the healthy habits we had, waiting until it’s “time” to restart our lives again.
Thing is, there’s never a right time. Now is the right time.
By believing there is a right time and a wrong time, you will always find reasons to believe it’s never a right enough time to do what you truly want. This is how the months and years fly by, leaving you with not a whole lot to show for it.
The willingness to dive into this world with the intention of LIVING each moment is something we all need to remember to do. Now.
